I was born in Swift Current, and was raised on a farm near Webb. At the age of 10 we moved into Swift Current as my mother was teaching full time at the Swift Current Comprehensive High School. As a child growing up, I lived and breathed hockey. At the age of 16, I moved to Red Deer to play for the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League. After several years of riding buses all over North America pursuing the “dream”, I discovered that wasn’t the career for me, so I chose to focus my efforts toward education.
I enrolled at SIAST (now Great Plains College), studying Business Administration and in my spare time and on weekends I kept busy playing senior hockey competing against various teams from different parts of the province. After completing 2 years of business studies, I moved to Edmonton to attend Nait. This is where I completed the 2-year technical portion of my Denturist training and met the love of my life, my wife!
Four months after graduating from Nait, Nicole and I were married and heading to Prince Albert to complete the last two years of my training as an intern Denturist. Once my internship was completed, I decided to stay on for one more year as an associate to learn the business side of running a denture clinic. During this time, we decided to start a family, my son was born on March 30, 2008. By July 2008, we were relocated to Swift Current and launching Sure-Fit Denture Clinic. On September 2, 2010, we were once again blessed, this time with a healthy beautiful little girl.
We moved to Swift Current to enjoy the relaxed and comfortable lifestyle only the great Southwest can offer. I am proud that Sure-Fit Denture Clinic has gained a positive reputation for quality and service, and am looking forward to treating the residents of Swift Current and surrounding area for years to come!
